THE RARE ONES: Peter Morgan and the Plus Four Plus

Read the complete story of this rare model Morgan, which includes before and after documentation of the restoration of one of these special fibreglass bodied beauties. Eight owners tell their stories about their personal ownership of their Plus Four Plus, further illustrated by photos. Also included are a chapter entitled: Driving the Plus Four Plus, and a complete register of the 26 models, documenting details and specs of their builds with anecdotes about the owners, past and present. This book is the definitive resource on the Morgan Plus Four Plus, and a must have for collectors of literature on the Morgan.

The book is 103 pages, and chronicles the story of Peter Morgan and his creation, the Plus Four Plus. Loaded with 73 color photos, (most of which are full page) as well as 25 black and white pictures, the book features a forward written by Peter H. G. Morgan himself.

READ THE REVIEW from sMOG This Recommends...The Rare Ones

Guys and Gals, My new book: THE RARE ONES: Peter Morgan and the Plus Four Plus was presented at Morgan 32 in Staunton and was well recieved during a day long signing session along with the publisher Richard Rollins, who flew out from Redondo Beach in California for the event. We had and are having a good time at the meet. The book is a salute to Peter Morgan and his creation the Plus Four Plus. I am very pleased with the resulting book in content, layout and presentation. I feel it completes another part of the MORGAN HISTORY that we all enjoy. I enjoyed doing this one because no one in the past has done the complete Plus Four Plus story. This model was way ahead of its time and added unexpected style to the Morgan line. I enjoyed owning two of the 26 built, and restored four of them for other owners over a period of time. I always admired Peter for bring out the Plus Four Plus as it really added to the LEGEND of the Morgan Marque.

For those of you that would like a copy of the book, the easy way to acquire one directly would be to send a check or money order payable to: RANK AND FILE PUBLICATIONS for $35 USD. Please add $ 6 for postage and packing and I shall send you a signed copy of the book ASAP. Please indicate to whom and how you would like the book dedicated, be it you personally or to a friend or for a birthday etc. etc. I am confident that you will enjoy this addition to the story of the Morgan Motorcars.

There was a young lady of Smog,
Was shot on the hood of a Mog;
She tended to thrive
When she went for a drive,
And the rest were all left quite agog.
